(As we climbed to the top of Pyramid 4 and looked out over the unbroken wilderness of the lowland rain forest of northern Guatemala we were treated to this view. The shadow is of the great pyramid, slightly off the main plaza at Tikal. On our hike there we observed Howler Monkeys roaring from the upper canopy.)
